National Night Out

Bring your family and your lawn chairs and enjoy the festivities. There will be fun for all ages. It will be a great opportunity for you to show community camaraderie and unity. Let's take a stand AGAINST CRIME and support our county/state law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel and our business community.

Residential Street Sweeping Program Virtual Town Halls

The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will offer Residential Street Sweeping for the first time in Prince George's County's history!
The Residential Street Sweeping Program will significantly reduce the amount of debris along residential roadways, helping to prevent litter buildup and mitigate potential pollutants in our ecosystem. This exciting new program, set to launch in Summer 2024, will be implemented in two phases and cover over 2,000 total curb miles.

Behind the Badge Kickball with a Cop

Please come out on July 22, 2024 with your community engagement unit (Officer Keeve) at the FOP 89 lodge supporting current student police officers in a friendly game of kick ball while they play against community youth members.
The capital food bank will be on site to collect donations.
County Council At-Large Candidate Forum

A special primary election is scheduled for Aug. 6th to fill the vacant At-Large seat on the Prince George’s County Council. Early voting will run from July 31st to Aug. 5th. The winner will run in the Nov. 5 general election, the same day as the presidential election.
